This presentation describes the work of the AccessIT project, which is funded by the Culture Programme 2007 – 2013, with the intention of helping to make artistic and cultural works and products from three countries in South Eastern Europe more easily accessible to people in other countries. It will focus in particular on the methods the project has adopted to do this, via training and skills development; explore some issues and possibilities relating to local accreditation of the resulting training course; and look at how the project plans to help organisations with relevant digital content in Greece, Serbia and Turkey become part of the rapidly developing Europeana.eu service.en
