| dc.description.abstract | Recataloguing began in 1992. The 651 manuscripts on theology, classical and Byzantine literature from the largest collection of Greek manuscripts in Germany. The last catalogue was produced 170 years ago. Negotiations took place between the state of Bavaria and the Duetsche Forchungsgemeinschaft (DFG - German Research Association) to fund the projected 6-volume catalogue. The state of Bavaria provided an extra staff post and took the whole project over from the DFG. | en |
