Abstract

Reports on the proceedings of the second 'Libraries Without Walls' conference, organized by CERLIM (Centre for Research in Library and Information Management) and held at Molyvos, Greece on 17-20 September 1997. The topic of the conference was the delivery of library services to distant users, together with the emerging information technology based virtual library technologies, facilitating remote service delivery. Papers addressed the principal strategic issues, concentrating on international, regional and sectoral approaches to the provision of library services to remote and distant users.
