dc.description.abstractDescribes Project Helen, a cooperative project funded by the European Commission, which is investigating a number of issues related to conversion between the Latin and Greek alphabets and to the representation of the Greek character set, focusing on the conversion of bibliographic data. The project investigated transliteration schemes in use libraries and is developing software which will convert transliterated text back into Greek.en
