dc.description.abstractDescribes the education available for those responsible for extending the useful life of library and archival material in Greece. This includes fringe modules in the 2 Greek library schools in Athens and Thessaloniki, municipal and public library seminars on the preservation of library and archival materials; and conservation education courses offered by the following institutions - the Department of Archaeological and Fine Arts Conservation; the Hellenic Organisation of Small and Medium Sized Industries and Handicrafts; the National Bank Educational Foundation; a conservation workshop on Andros; a conservation school on Patmos, and Petras, a private school of conservation in Athens.en
