How about us? Libraries and research data
Abstract
Over the past few years, numerous reports have been written on the challenges
science & society face when 'dealing with data'. Whether these challenges are of a
technical, ethical, legal, economic or organisational nature, or any combination
thereof, it has now become clear that the relevant stakeholders need to act. But who
needs to do what? In his presentation, Marc van den Berg, director of Library and IT
Services at Tilburg University, will argue that (research) libraries are indeed relevant
stakeholders when it comes to research data. He will present an overview of data
services libraries can offer, prioritized by urgency and feasibility.
