Towards the Preservation and Availability of Historical Books and Manuscripts: a Case Study

Abstract

We present a case study on the use of digitization for the preservation and availability of the books and manuscripts in a historical library. At first, we give a brief description of the collection. Then, we describe the process of digitization and our approach to the availability and awareness of the digitized documents.
