Integration of Chroma and Rhythm Histogram Features in a Music Identification System

Abstract

A system for Music Identification is presented which makes use of two different feature descriptors, namely Chroma and Rhythm Histogram features. A simple approach to feature combination is proposed and evaluated against a test collection. Finally directions for future work are proposed, focusing on performance optimization towards a scalable system.
