Das Repertorium der griechischen Kopisten 800-1600

Abstract

Since 1973 the Austrian Academy of Sciences has funded work on the index of Greek copyists in manuscripts in the Austrian National Library; the index will be completed in 1998 and include material from other German-speaking countries. This will be Volume 4 in a series already covering UK, French, Roman and Vatican libraries. Lists of copyists with biographical information and lists of manuscripts with palaeographic characteristics will be included. 80 percent of manuscripts are from the Renaissance.
