A study was carried out by Greek students in March 2011 to investigate a variety of Greek and international search engines. The study looked at how search engines respond to user experience in the search for information and assessed users' opinions regarding specific characteristics of search engines and the results they generate. The results showed that users prefer international search engines to the Greek ones. In particular, they show special preference for google.com when searching for information, in agreement with previous findings.en
