Greece has a periodical on librarianship
Abstract
Greece is trying to raise its library standards to the same level as those of other Western nations. It still has no national bibliography, no link with international interloans and little modern technology. In 1984 the First edition of a quarterly librarianship periodical waspublished, Bibliothekes kai Pliroforisi (Libraries and Information). Themes covered so far: include Greek librarianship training, public library development, the possibilities of using data banks, international document exchange, plans for a Greek national library and library legislation. Concern has been expressed over the shortage of library posts.
