University libraries in Greece: the present situation

Abstract

Reports results of a survey of 226 libraries in Greek universities, focusing particularly on the environment within which Greek university libraries operate, their organizational structures and administrative practices, staff issues and the way they affect library development, the provision of library materials, the organization of technical services, and the reader services that are provided.
