IFLA satellite pre-conference: open access to science information: trends, models and strategies for libraries

Abstract

The article discusses the highlights of the conference by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) that was held in Crete, Greece on August 6 to 8, 2010. The University of Piraeus Library's Anthi Katsirikuo talked about copyright and creativity among librarians. Hungary-based computer librarian Katalin Miszori discussed the use of ePrints system in creating a repository in a special library. The other presenters include Manolis Koukourakis and Angela Repanovici.
